Moving

You’re preparing to live in a new community and now you’re going crazy of the thought of getting everything ready to move, right?  Moving can be a stressful time, but planning ahead and separating the move into simple tasks can make a big difference and a less hectic transition into your new home.

Part 1: Getting Started

It all begins with a decision. Ask yourself if you’re financially and mentally ready to move and how to share with family and friend the news of your moving

Part 2: Planning and Packing

Are you willing to ask family and friends to help you move or hire someone? Make sure to educate yourself on how to hire a mover, rent a moving truck, avoid scams and pack just like the moving professionals

Part 3: The Moving Day

Okay, whether you’re working with friends or professionals, make sure to have in place a moving day survival kit and a list of things before you say goodbye. Simple things like this will make your moving day much smoother.

Part 4: Settling In

Congratulations, you’re all moved in!  Boxes have all arrived.  This is the time to make sure all your belongings made it home safely and without being lost or broken. Make your new house a home and get a chance to explore the community and everything it has to offer.
